First 100 Followers - @turquoisemoose TikTok Giveaway and Announcement Video
While working with Turquoise Moose, a gemstone supplier for jewelry artists, I managed all aspects of their TikTok account, growing the account from scratch and focusing on content creation, video editing, analytics monitoring, and influencer collaboration.
One of my favorite campaigns I led was a giveaway for our first 100 followers in which we chose one winner at random to receive a free gemstone. I created an upbeat TikTok announcing the giveaway using aesthetic gemstone cutting clips, showcasing our stones, and thanking our audience for following us.
I required users to follow our account and leave a comment introducing themselves and their business (most of our audience consisted of small businesses and independent jewelry artists).
I kept the entry requirements simple to encourage more participants and shares, and I wanted users to comment introducing their business to encourage community building and interaction with Turquoise Moose at the center. People will always take an easy opportunity to promote themselves as well, so I knew this would work!
The giveaway was a huge success and became one of our most viewed and shared videos on the account, and skyrocketed our follower count. The winner was so excited and shared the stone with her own audience, further increasing our exposure!
Ultimate Guide: Everything You NEED To Know For The Career Fair With Maria Richart (Career Fair 101)
I created this video series to promote and encourage RIT students to attend the Career Fair and help educate them on the do’s and don’ts of the fair.
I interviewed the head of RIT Career Services, Maria Richart, and distributed short highlights of the video across all Saunders College of Business social media platforms, linking back to the full video on YouTube. I managed all aspects of this series, from the copywriting to the thumbnail design to the promotion.
Intro to Co-ops: Answering YOUR Questions with Emily Hake and Taylor Lincoln | RIT Careers
This is another initiative I led at Saunders to encourage students to apply for co-ops and educate them on the process.
I had Emily Hake and Taylor Lincoln from RIT Careers “take over” our Instagram stories. Students used the question box to send in their questions on all things co-op, and Emily and Taylor answered in real-time. I then repurposed the footage and shared the video across all social media platforms to maximize exposure.
