Sometimes, you don’t feel like styling a whole outfit from scratch.
Sometimes, you just want to throw on something easy and comfortable without having to think about it a whole lot!
If you love casual, sporty fashion and find yourself needing some outfit inspiration when it comes to this style, keep reading because that’s exactly what today’s post is on.
Today, I’m super excited to share 37 trendy and sporty outfits. These outfits are easy to put together and throw on, and always make you look like you put a lot of effort into your outfit (even if you didn’t).
If you love trendy apparel like crewnecks, sweatshirts, biker shorts, baseball caps, and chunky sneakers, then you’ll LOVE these sporty outfits I’m about to show you.
#1: Bold & Sporty
My first idea for a casual and sporty outfit that’s still stylish is a graphic tee paired with gym shorts, crew socks, white sneakers, and a baseball cap.
I love this outfit idea because it breaks a fashion rule by having both a baggy top and bottom, which makes it super unique and really emphasizes the casual streetwear style. It’s also a “bold” fashion move, too!
Speaking of bold, I love the idea of tying in graphic elements like on your t-shirt and baseball cap or wearing thick, chunky sneakers for more of a statement.
If you love the bold look of this outfit, tie in some chunky jewelry or a statement purse to enhance the look.
How to pull it off: notice the color scheme in this outfit. It’s all navy and white!
This outfit is “busier”, so toning it down a bit by using a simple or even monochromatic color scheme is a great way to make this outfit look well-styled when you recreate it for yourself.

#2: Monochromatic Matching Set
Next in my list of sporty outfit ideas is a matching monochromatic set.
If the bolder style in my last idea is too much, a simple, neutral outfit like this might be more your style.
This outfit is the queen of comfortable fashion that still looks stylish!
The bagginess really emphasizes that “streetwear” look I really love, but you can always tuck your sweatshirt into your pants or tie it back with a hair tie to make the look a little bit more “fitted.”
How to pull it off: accessorize.
Because your top and bottom are on the simpler side, you can use your accessories to dress up the outfit a bit and make it look more complete.
The girl in the photo does this with chunky gold jewelry and stylish, cat eye sunglasses.
Bolder accessories like these work beautifully to balance out the simplicity of the rest of the outfit.
You can’t see below her knees, but for shoes, try some chunky white sneakers!

#3: Rock The Basics
Here’s a casual outfit idea that’s super easy to put together. That’s because it’s made up entirely of fashion “basics.”
Basics are closet staples that every girl needs in her wardrobe.
Think things like white crop tops, black leggings, or other simple apparel that’s typically styled in combination with “louder” pieces.
For this outfit, we have a simple oversized tee with black biker shorts, crew socks, white sneakers, and a simple black shoulder bag.
Outfits like these are perfect to throw on when you don’t know what else to wear or when you want to look cute but you’re in a rush to get ready.
How to pull it off: stick to the basics. That’s the whole point of this outfit!
You can always dress it up with accessories, but if you love the simple look of this style, choose pieces with minimal graphics and colors that aren’t super loud.

#4: Fitted Top & Loose Bottoms
My next sporty outfit idea is a fitted t-shirt with sweatpants. What I love about this casual look is how balanced it is!
We all love oversized crewnecks, sweatshirts, and t-shirts, if you’re like me, you probably already have a million of those and wear them all the time.
A chic style outfit like this is a great chance to switch things up with a fitted top and loose bottoms.
How to pull it off: choose the right colors. Yes, choose colors that go well together (like the neutral color palette in this case), but also choose colors that make you feel comfortable.
We all have colors we wear more than any others because we like how we look when wearing them, whether that be because it compliments our skin tone, enhances a feature we’re proud of, or we simply just like the color.

#5: “Just Came From A Run”
Next in my list of sporty outfit ideas is going to be a crewneck tucked into biker shorts paired with a baseball cap.
This is a super cute workout or running outfit (hence the name) and it also works for running errands!
I love how this girl tucked her sweatshirt into her shorts for a more fitted look, but you can totally leave yours untucked if you love an oversized style.
This outfit gives me “girl on the go” vibes, and I am totally here for it.
It’s a simple style to put together and lots of fun to accessorize with jewelry and handbags. For shoes, try basic white tennis shoes or sneakers.
How to pull it off: coordination! In my opinion, hats always make an outfit look busier.
When there’s more going on in your outfit, you’ll want to coordinate certain elements of it so the look feels more visually balanced.
The easiest example of this is to choose a color palette and stick to it. Pick 1-3 colors at the most and build an outfit out of that palette.
You can see that the girl in our inspiration photo chose a white, black, and navy color scheme for her outfit, which looks adorable!
