Hello friends and welcome to my new aesthetic desk setup! I moved recently and with that comes a ton of reorganizing and redecorating - including a new work from home setup.

I designed my new desk setup to improve work efficiency while also making sure it’s pretty, cozy, and comfortable.

I had fun picking out all new aesthetic desk accessories in a black and neutral color palette - all of which I’m sharing in this post.

Hopefully I can give you some inspiration for your own workspace, too. Enjoy!

My Aesthetic Desk: An Overview

Here’s an overview of my setup. As you can see, I went for a white/neutral vibe with black accents.

My desk actually came with the place I’m renting, so unfortunately I don’t know exactly where it’s from, but I’ve linked a similar modern, minimalist desk above.

The Coziest Minimalist Desk Chair

This desk chair is so soft and comfortable! I’m in love! For me, it’s truly the best balance of aesthetics and functionality.

I specifically wanted a high back chair with arm rests and a soft touch for comfort/ergonomic purposes.

But of course, I wanted it to look pretty and match the rest of my setup, and that led me to this gorgeous thing.

Next is this stunning aesthetic desk lamp with a wavy base and pleated shade! This is so chic and minimalist and I’m loving how it pulls the whole setup together.

Decorative Faux Books

I thought about getting some real books, but thought twice when I saw the prices.

These chic faux books are more affordable and give me some much needed storage as my desk doesn’t have drawers, so I felt this was the best bet for me personally.

Pens & Minimalist Pen Holder

I do hand lettering, so I treated myself to a set of new pens. This set came with a wide variety and it’s been super fun to play around with all the different pen types.

I use a beautiful little pen/pencil holder to keep them from cluttering up my desk surface. I love anything with simple textures, so this one really spoke to me when picking out my accessories.

Neutral Notebook

This notebook is what I use for my hand lettering! It’s this beautiful neutral piece from the brand Appointed, and comes with both blank and grid pages. Also important (at least for me) is the spiral binding for ease of use.

My pens do bleed through the pages a bit, but I also don’t think this notebook is meant to be for pen and ink type art/writing.

Cream Bubble Candle

How adorable is this little bubble candle? I rarely burn this because I like having it as a decoration, haha.

I placed it on top of my faux books for these photos, but be sure to put yours on a safe surface like a cute tray when burning.

AirPods & Beige Case

Something that’s not necessarily part of my desk decor but always on my desk are my AirPods - and of course, a cute neutral case.

MacBook Laptop & Neutral Textured Case

Next is the center of it all: my MacBook. As a web designer, this thing is my ride or die for all my creative software and projects - and has been all throughout college and beyond.

To protect it (and make it look all pretty), I found this beautiful textured case on Etsy that’s perfect for minimalist tech users.

Phone Stand

This simple phone stand matches the space perfectly and seriously comes in handy for watching/listening to content while working or when taking calls.

Gratitude Journal

This is my gratitude journal - it’s a sister to the super viral Five Minute Journal by Intelligent Change and is both a beautiful and mindful addition to my aesthetic cozy desk setup.
