If you're a lover of neutral color palettes like me, this next idea is for you.

I find colors like beige, cream, and brown super relaxing, especially when used in combination with each other.

That's definitely the vibe I want to bring into my workspace and into my home in general.

The pegboard in the photo above does this so beautifully by incorporating neutral tones into bigger pieces like the pegboard and the desk, but also smaller ones like flowers, mugs, mirrors, candles, and more.

#9: Book Baskets

Whether you're a book lover or just have some really cute books you want to display, using a basket on your pegboard is the perfect way to do just that.

You can also use it to store textbooks that you need to have handy if you’re a student.

I actually find that having really aesthetic books around me helps me romanticize studying and working at my desk - it’s like bringing the academia aesthetic to life!

So, if you're in need of a little study motivation, definitely consider this idea for your headboard.

#10: Hang Up Your Headphones

I am almost always using my headphones while I'm working at my desk (I can’t focus without some sort of music, podcast, or YouTube video playing in the background, haha).

If you're like me, you'll definitely want to have a convenient place to hang them up so you don’t lose them.

Plus, they just look sooo cute hanging on your pegboard!

Shelves are an absolute essential when it comes to accessorizing your pegboard.

Use them to store your desk accessories, add some decor to your workspace, or both - the options are endless.

As I'm writing this, I'm actually in the process of shopping for some new desk and pegboard decor, so stay tuned for my blog post all about that.

I'm so excited to order everything and get decorating!

#12: Pink Theme

I feel like this year has just been the year of ‘pink’ -  and I am not upset about that in the slightest!

If you're a pink lover like me, definitely consider making it the whole theme of your workspace.

The result is always absolutely adorable and super Pinterest-worthy.

I love the soft pink used in the image above but there are so many cute  shades of pink, so have fun with it and express yourself.

#13: Hexagon Light

How cute are these hexagon lights?! These make the perfect addition to any gaming setup.

But even if you're not a gamer, these are sure to add a fun and modern touch to your workspace. Plus, the pastel colors are just so pretty.

#14: Positive Affirmations

There are so many aesthetic ways to incorporate positive affirmations into your workspace, but my favorite way (and the easiest) is to simply hang some prints on your wall or on your pegboard.

Another idea to compliment this is to make a vision board to go with your prints!

Vision boards are so much fun to make and they're a great way to help you visualize your goals and the life that you're working towards.

When it comes to finding images and prints for pegboard decor, Etsy is my go-to place.

You can buy either physical or digital print sets fully pre-made!

With a digital set, you buy the images as a digital download and then you print them out and hang them up yourself.

If you buy a physical set, you'll get the  physical images cut out and shipped to you so all you have to do is hang them up.

This is usually more expensive than buying a digital set, but both are great options depending on how much work you want to put into it.

You can also find your own images and design your own pegboard decor if you want!

For this, I recommend using Pinterest to find your images and Canva as your design tool.

#15: Rainbow Colored

Even neutral lovers like me need some color in their life.

Here's a super cute piece of inspiration if you're wanting to make your pegboard super colorful and rainbow-themed.

I love how soft and dreamy this desk is while still incorporating pops of color through beautiful shades of pink, yellow, blue, green, and purple.

#16: Calming Pictures

Here's another idea for incorporating art and imagery into your pegboard.

If you want to make your desk a cozy and comforting place to work (which I would definitely recommend as it's probably somewhere you spend a lot of time), try hanging up artwork or pictures of things that make you feel calm.

This will look different for everyone, but some ideas to get you started are: the ocean, mountains, flowers, colors & gradients, coffee, etc.

#17: All White

You can never go wrong with a classic all white look. I'm just in love with the clean and simple vibe of it.

All white is a super easy decor style to work with because it's so versatile and goes with pretty much anything.

The only downside with white decor is that it gets dirty a little easier, but that’s all the more reason to engage in a regular desk cleaning and reset routine so your space stays fresh and clean!

#18: Wood Theme

Can't decide what color pegboard to get?

Then you might want to consider a wooden one like this one!

Wooden pegboards are a beautiful option if you're looking to create a workspace that feels natural, neutral, airy, and mature.

Plus, if you already have a wood desk, it'll fit right in with your existing furniture and decor.

#19: A Clock

I've been seeing this adorable alarm clock all over Pinterest lately!

I love how retro it feels while still featuring a simple and minimal style.

A clock of any kind, though, is sure to make a cute (and functional) addition to your pegboard.

Definitely explore different options when it comes to both digital and analog clocks to see what looks best in your space.

I personally find digital clocks a lot easier to read but analog clocks to be more aesthetic -  especially cute little round ones!

#20: Hang Prints & Pictures

I know I have already talked about hanging prints, pictures, and artwork on your pegboard already, but here's your reminder that you can hang up literally anything that you enjoy looking at.

It doesn't have to be aesthetic, motivational, or inspiring, although those things are awesome.

Use decorating your workspace as an opportunity to have fun, express your style, and show off your personality. Make it “you!”

#21: Simple & Minimalist

Here's another style that's a personal favorite of mine.

Besides just loving the look of simple decor, I've actually found that a minimalist style is better for my mental health.

I'm the type of person that gets anxious when there’s a lot of clutter around me, and minimal spaces help reduce the overstimulation that tends to make me uneasy.

So, if you like me, try keeping your work space super simple and see how you like it.

I do want to say that you can have more of a maximalist style and still keep things decluttered. It's all about what works for you and your brain!

#22: Blue Theme

How relaxing does this desk look?

Blue is one of those super calming colors that's great to have around you while you're working, especially if you're feeling stressed because you have a lot to do or because you're behind.

Especially a soft blue like the one in the picture!

#23: Black & White

Black and white is another classic style that you can never really go wrong with.

This style is perfect for anyone who loves a sharp, modern, eye-catching, and high contrast decor look.

If you love the idea of a black and white theme but want to soften things up a bit, a really good way you can do that is by using patterns and decor pieces with round and organic shapes.

Some good examples in the picture above are the cow print and CD on the pegboard. Round shapes like these are nice and easy on the eye!

The opposite is true if you like a sleek, modern, sharp style. In that case, incorporate more hard edges and sharp angles into your space.

#24: Display Cameras

And finally, I've got one more adorable, and kind of random idea for your pegboard: display a camera on one of your shelves!

I think film cameras and vintage cameras (especially) make for the cutest decor pieces, plus it's a convenient place to put your camera for whenever you need it.
