Morning: Grab Breakfast At Wonder Coffeehouse

Start your day downtown with some breakfast or brunch at Wonder Coffeehouse!

Wonder Coffeehouse is by far my favorite coffee place in Buffalo thanks to it having a great atmosphere, prime waterfront location, aesthetic interior and exterior, delicious coffee, and of course - the waffles.

I’d argue the waffles are a priority if you’re planning on stopping by.

There’s a ton of options (especially when it comes to toppings), but they’re all beautifully assembled and it all truly makes for a superior waffle eating experience.

Late Morning: Explore Canalside & Buffalo Waterfront

When you’re done at Wonder Coffeehouse, step outside and explore the beautiful Buffalo waterfront (AKA Canalside).

At Canalside, you’ll find various boardwalks, bridges, and pathways to explore along a very pretty waterfront.

There’s plenty of places to sit and enjoy your morning coffee, and more places to eat along the way if you’re still hungry.

There’s often events going on by the waterfront, which vary depending on the season, but can include concerts, festivals, and even ice skating.

Be sure to check out the official Buffalo waterfront site for any events going on and more information on nearby attractions.

Stroll Through Buffalo Botanical Gardens

Next, we’ll head south of downtown and stop by the Buffalo And Erie Country Botanical Gardens.

The gardens are made of indoor and outdoor floral displays and several beautiful houses filled with lush greenery, colorful flowers, and even a koi pond.

It’s a beautiful and peaceful way to spend an hour or two if you have some time left before the game.

Enjoy a fun, casual atmosphere decorated with plenty of Bills memorabilia sure to get you hyped for the game.

You can find a wide variety of food choices, from salad, sandwiches, burgers, steak, pasta, and seafood.
