It’s finally almost here. Spring is so close I can practically taste it! In celebration of this time of year, today’s post is a spring bucket list.

A good bunch of these bucket list items are college-focused, but anyone looking to add some inexpensive spring-themed joy to their season can take inspiration from this list of fun spring activites.

So, get your flowy dresses and flower bouquets ready, because it’s springtime, baby.

Spring Bucket List Ideas

#1: Do A Spring Semester Reset

Spring is all about new beginnings, so there’s no better time than now to do a reset.

Whether it’s spring cleaning, having a self care day, organizing your laptop, or another reset method, pick something that works for you and do what makes you feel the best.

#2: Make A Spring Vision Board

Anyone else obsessed with vision boards?

One of my favorite ways to welcome a new season, year, or period of my life is with one of these babies.

Your vision board can be in any medium you like, too!

I personally like making digital ones and using them as wallpapers, but plenty of people like printing out photos and making a collage they can hang on their wall.

When you’re making yours, Pinterest (for finding pictures) and Canva (for arranging your board) will be your best friends.

#3: Update Your Spring Wardrobe

Well, if you’re looking for an excuse to buy or get rid of some clothes, you’ve got one!

Spring is a great time to give away clothes you don’t like or ones that don’t fit you anymore.

It’s also a super fun time to shop for bathing suits, tank tops, shorts, skirts, short sleeve tops, and other warmer weather apparel.

#4: Do A Spring Themed Photoshoot

spring bucket list

I love seasonal photo shoots, and if you love a fresh, floral aesthetic, a spring photoshoot is a must.

Grab some friends, get dressed up, find a flowery spot, and shoot!

#5: Stroll Through A Flower Garden

Is there any better way of romanticizing the spring season than strolling through a flower garden?

Do it alone while listening to music, hand-in-hand with your partner, with your bestie, or even take your dog if it’s allowed!

#6: Visit A Farmer’s Market

spring bucket list

Another fantastic way to romanticize the season.

Spend a peaceful Saturday or Sunday morning browsing flower bouquets, fresh produce, organic goods, handmade crafts, and walk away with treasures you never expected to find.

#7: Plan For Spring Break

Every student looks forward to spring break, so get excited and start planning now!

Whether it’s a big trip, a self care day, a girl’s day out, or a movie night, jot down some fun ways to spend your break.

#8: Decorate Your Dorm Or Apartment

spring bucket list

Does your dorm or apartment need a refresh?

Try adding some spring-themed decor to add some life into your space after a long winter.

Think floral pieces, live (or even fake) plants, and bright, light, cheerful colors.

#9: Do An Outdoor Workout

Here’s something I definitely want to try this spring.

I love working out, and the idea of doing some yoga outdoors in the sunshine or by the water sounds amazing!

No matter what type of workouts you do, this is a must-do activity for anyone looking to stay active this spring, and a great way to stay motivated when it comes to fitness, too.

#10: Get Spring Scented Things

spring bucket list

Every season has amazing scents, but there’s something about fresh, floral, spring scents that I really love (especially cherry blossom scents).

This season, treat yourself to some spring-scented candles, essential oils, air freshener, fabric softener, or whatever it is you prefer and take a nice, deep breath in.

#11: Sit On A Bench And Read

If you’re looking for another way to romanticize the season and enjoy the warmer weather, here you go.

Something about sitting on a park bench underneath a tree and getting lost in a good book just screams “spring” to me.

It’s such a peaceful and relaxing activity, too. Perfect for when you need some “me” time.

#12: Plant Something

An iconic spring activity.

Whether it’s a tree, flower, vegetable, or something else, gardening is a great way to give back to the environment while getting some fresh air and enjoying the sunshine and warm weather.

It’s also a great opportunity to try something new if you’re new to gardening, too!

#13: Throw An An Outdoor Picnic

spring bucket list

There are few things cuter and more romantic than picnics at the park, or even just on campus.

Get a cute blanket, pack some lunch and snacks in a basket, and find a pretty spot to enjoy an afternoon in.

This is a fun idea to do with friends or as a date with your significant other!

#14: Go For A Walk In The Rain

Don’t worry, you don’t have to get wet for this one. I don’t know about you, but I absolutely adore a light, early morning springtime rain shower.

Make the most of it by grabbing your umbrella, jacket, and headphones, and going on a walk to take in all of the sights, sounds, and smells.

#15: Customize Your Tech For Spring

I actually do this every time the season changes, and it’s so much fun. What I mean by customizing you tech is making your digital life spring themed!

The easiest and most obvious way you can do this is by setting a spring themed wallpaper (I made a few cute ones for you here by the way).

But you can also change your Instagram story highlight covers, your phone/laptop/tablet case, device color theme, or do anything else to get you in the spring spirit and make your devices aesthetic.

#16: Buy A Bouquet Of Flowers

spring bucket list

Nothing says spring like a beautiful flower bouquet. Buy one for yourself, your friend, partner, a family member to add some spring cheer to any space.

The weather’s getting warmer, which means it’s time to cool down with snacks like ice cream, ice pops, fruit, smoothies, or whatever tickles your fancy!

#18: Go Bike Riding

spring bucket list

What’s more peaceful than a springtime bike ride?

Whether it’s through your neighborhood, through a forest trail, or along a boardwalk, a bike ride is a great way to get outside, make the most of the warm weather, and get moving.

#19: Listen To A Spring Playlist

Ring in spring with a spring themed playlist!

You can find these by searching them up wherever you listen to music or even on YouTube. You can also try making one yourself, too!

#20: Make Art Outside

This spring, get creative!

Grab some paint, pen and ink, a canvas, a sketchpad, or other art supplies, find a comfortable spot outdoors, and let out your inner artist.

Doing a spring craft is a fantastic way to relax, clear your mind, and spend quality time with yourself or with friends. Plus, it can be quite therapeutic.
