FREE Aesthetic Notion Template for Daily Planning, Journaling, Mood Boarding, And Habit Tracking
Hey there! This post is a full tour and tutorial on how to use my free Notion template. This template is a super simple and easy-to-use planner ideal for anyone new to Notion or just wanting to keep their planning routine low-key.
It includes a welcome section with some cute widgets and sections for habit tracking, daily planning, mood boarding, and journaling. And of course, a cute banner (which I’ve also included a free template for in case you want to input your own custom text and images). Happy planning!
Template Overview
So, here’s an overview of what this Notion template looks like. As you can see, it’s very minimal and aesthetic and has sections for a daily planner, mood board, habit tracker, and journal. We’ve also got plenty of both cute and functional widgets to help you make the most of this template.
“Welcome” Section
This top section is where you have your little clock widget so you always know what time it is as well as a playlist! I put in a Spotify playlist with songs from The Summer I Turned Pretty but of course, feel free to add whichever playlist you want.
How to add your custom Spotify playlist: One of my favorite ways to customize my Notion is my adding a Spotify playlist! To do this, go to any Spotify playlist and click on the three dots symbol > share > copy link to album. Paste that link into Notion and select “embed.”
In this section we also have spots write your daily to-do list and habits you want to stay on top of. Next to that we have a little mood board section - how cute is this? I’m in love with the minimal, health-inspired aesthetic I curated for this notion template but the best part is you can swap these out with your own images if you want.
To do that, noise over each image > click the three dots > click “replace image” > upload your image. Pinterest is my top spot to find cute pictures for my Notion!
Daily Schedule
This section is the daily schedule section. If you like planning out your day in small increments like an hour, 30 minutes, etc., then you’ll love this! In the left column is the time, and then in the right column is the activity you’ll be doing at that time.
Feel free to change the times or time increments (for example, having boxes for every half hour instead of every hour). You can also add more boxes by mousing over the bottom of the table and clicking the plus icon. To remove boxes, simply highlight the ones you want to remove and press “delete” or click the trash can icon in Notion.

Journal
Next we have a cute little journal section with some prompts. This is your space to get out all your thoughts and feelings, or make random notes. This section should be pretty straightforward to use - simply type in the boxes to journal. You can also change out the prompts, or add/delete journaling boxes to create your perfect custom daily journal.
Calendar
To round things out, we have a calendar to input upcoming important dates, a weather widget so we can plan outfits accordingly, and a cute little quote. You can add calendar items by mousing over the date you want to add something on and clicking the plus icon.
To change the weather widget to your own location, go to indify.co and make a free account. Then, find “weather widget” and follow the steps to customize the location and aesthetic of your widget. Once you’re done, click the “embed” link in the upper right corner, paste that link into Notion, and click “embed” in the menu that comes up. Then, you should have your custom weather widget all set!
