Download or create the custom app image you want, then copy it from Finder. In Finder, locate the app whose icon you want to change in your applications folder. Right-click the app, choose “get info,” click the small app icon at the top (upper left) of the info window, and paste (command V) or drag in your custom image.

Once applied, the new icon will appear in the dock after you quit and reopen the app (or restart the dock).

From there, you can click the small folder icon at the top left of the info window to paste (command V) a custom image, and rename the folder in the name field to match your setup.

You can also organize multiple folders by color-coding, grouping, or arranging them (click and drag) neatly to keep your desktop both functional and visually appealing.
